Bijna niets is onmogelijk, wanneer kunt u zeggen “Ik wil leren” Almost nothing is impossible, when you can say “I want to learn”.
Ik houd van talen leren. / I love to learn languages.
Maar talen begrijpen is niet precies hetzelfde één zoals talen kennen But to understand languages is not exactly one and the same as knowing languages.
Men moet zich ontvouwen- van een passief verstand, tot een actief mededeling. One needs to evolve- from a passive understanding, to an active communication.

Het is vervelend van buiten leren. / It is boring to learn by heart.

Regels: / Rules:
- one of the ten verbs is the “theme” of your story
- each verb has to be used just once
- the theme verb must appear also in the title
- you can use auxiliary (have, be) and modal (can, must, etc) verbs- but only in phrases that contain one of the ten verbs
- keep it as short as possible!
- and try to make your story visual enough to remember

And that’s absolutely true: when learning a language, you usually refer to what you already know, and try to mimick its structure and patterns.
But, by interacting with native speakers, you will see or hear their feed-back, and learn how to replace the old pattern with the most appropriate one for that language.
So, if you are learning while I am learning… keep learning: as I learned in German “Übung macht den Meister”
